yeah!!! Basic is finally OVER! I ended up staying two extra weeks due to the wonderful fact that I couldn't pass their standard for the run. Their standards are pretty cruel too...

FOR FEMALES:
1.5 run: 14:21
Situps: 46
Pushups: 27

Situps and pushups standards are timed for one minute.

My initial evaluation was:
1.5 run: 19:37
situps:22
pushups:0

the week before I graduated evaluation was:
1.5 run: 14:58
situps: 51
pushups: 31

the evaluation that got me out of basic training:
1.5 run: 14:09
situps: 49
pushups: 33
So, in short, I stayed in basic for 8.5 weeks instead of the 6.5 weeks I was originally supposed to go for. So yeah. I'll update more soon. I need to get a scanner and all that jazz.... fun.

Sara! I miss you crazy bad! You should ship yourself here in a box, for like...a while. TT-TT

I'm writing a story. If I actually get anywhere with it, do you want me to send you some chapters once they are spruced up a bit? I'm thinking that if I actually manage to finish it (I'm going to try to), I'll edit it once and then e-mail it out to ppls like you and Mega-may for your feedback and suggestions.

...it'll be a while though. I'm not really turning out a huge amount of pages everyday. My goal is to do at least 5 written pages every day, more if I have the attention span.

I'm also figuring out the middle and end a bit still. I know how I want it to start and pretty much where I want it to go, but I haven't had time to go into super-concentration mode lately. Which saddens me. TT-TT

as soon as one is available. i'm actually conferring with megan on some of the plot right now. the way i have it set up makes figuring out how to end it...difficult.

then don't think of an ending, that's what I do when I write, so that way I don't feel so bound to a particular ending or situation in a story that if I just out of the blur decide on a situation, I don't have to leave it out since it won't fit with the ending I wanted.

Hmmm...yeah. Either way, I think I've got it narrowed down to one of three endings. Well, two real ENDINGS, but on one of the choices there's two ways the main character could react, so I'm calling it 2 possibilities, plus the other one.

Yup yup.

So I'm going to start working on the actual writing again, I just wanted to be sure where I was going (generally) with the story first.
